Blu’Hox W2F Wean-to-Finish feeder for piglets and adult pigs

Blu’Hox® W2F is an automated feeding system for the Wean-to-Finish market – an approach that is growing especially in warmer regions, where little to no heating is required in the initial stages of the piglets’ growth.

Automatic feeding system for piglets that spend their whole time in the same house

The pigs spend their whole time in the same house, in which the entire growth process occurs through a single feeding trough. Blu’Hox W2F has been designed for exactly that. The Wean-to-Finish feeding system helps young piglets and older, heavier adult pigs access their feed and water. The entire feeding process is covered, from A to Z. Blu’Hox W2F is the only Wean-to-Finish system on the market that makes manual feeding redundant. You’ll be astonished by the amount of time you will save.

Features of the Blu’Hox W2F feeding trough

No extra work or manual feeding required

Excellent access to feed for young piglets

The round shape of the feeder pan supports the pigs’ social nature. Young piglets can pull up a seat at the dinner table, without actually getting into the pan. Blu’Hox W2F is the first feeding system for Wean-to-Finish houses that doesn’t require any manual feeding or extra work from the outset.

Ad lib feeder pan with drinking nipples

Water nipples are integrated into the pan, catering to the pigs’ urge to alternate eating with drinking water. Water encourages eating, improves digestion, and promotes consistent growth.

No feed or water spillages

Moist paste increases feed intake

Water spills from the nipple are collected in the pan. The pigs mix the water and the feed to create a moist paste. The wet composition increases daily feed intake by 30 %.

Adjust feed volume easily and accurately

Blu’Hox W2F has 20 different feed settings, so you can control the feed volume precisely.

You can adjust the water pressure in line with the amount of water required and age of the pigs. Blu’Hox W2F has four nipples. As the pigs grow, the nipples can be adjusted in sets of two.

Optimal hygiene

Easy to clean

The round shape of the trough means the feed doesn’t collect in corners. The stainless steel material of the pan makes it quick to clean. The cover on the Blu’Hox prevents any dust entering the feed tray. The flap protects the feed against the smell of ammonia.

Excellent results
The Roxell systems enable me to optimise the management of my houses. Each step in the feeding process is tailored to the needs of the animals. The materials used are durable and robust, and the digital output of the system provides me with the daily feed intake and growth of the animals. This way, we work much more efficiently and we can monitor productivity by optimising the feed conversion.
