Product Owner

For the Innovations department, we are looking for a Product Owner who will lead digital product developments (m/f)
Your function:
- As Product Owner you will be responsible for the project management of the product optimization and product development process. You will establish the project and resource planning, monitor its progress and report on it in milestone meetings.
- In consultation with Product Managers and other stakeholders, you build a multi-year plan (product roadmap) for the product group(s) under your responsibility.
- In the light of continuous improvement, you are the driving force behind identifying, initiating, guiding and implementing improvements in terms of the existing processes (I/E, product development,...) and the used working methods.
- You also coordinate after-care activities after product release and continue to follow up any complaints until a satisfactory solution has been found.
- You pay particular attention to translating customer needs into product specifications (in collaboration with Product Management and Technical Support), maintaining contacts with suppliers and customers is crucial in this respect, ...
- As a product specialist you actively follow up on technological developments and carry out research concerning your own product group (literature, trade fairs, barn visits, field experience, etc.).
- You coach a team and report to the Innovations Manager.
Your profile:
- MSc degree in Engineering (Industrial Engineering or Agricultural Engineering) or comparable through experience;
- Knowledge of project management is a plus;
- Previous experience in a managerial position is a prerequisite;
- Basic knowledge of reading technical drawings;
- Affinity with the agricultural sector and preferably experience in this field;
- Language skills in Dutch and English. Additional languages are a plus.
