Financial Analysis Manager (Senior Controller)
Financial analysis and reporting to various business entities are central to your role. Because you understand the art of telling the story behind the numbers. Your function:
You will perform financial analysis and prepare financial management reports in order to identify the financial and operational objectives of the organization. Control the (analytical) accounting in order to provide a basis for planning and directing operations and evaluating results. You play a key role in the annual budget process and in the monthly and quarterly closings.
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- You will be responsible for several weekly and monthly reports:
- Sales Reporting
- P&L Reporting and variance analysis
- KPI Reporting
- You are also responsible for developing and maintaining BI reports in BI Tool (Power BI).
Finance:
- You ensure timely and accurate reporting of figures, in accordance with USGAAP and BEGAAP.
- You ensure the correct implementation of key controls and processes within your functional area.
- You participate in audits (internal and external).
Budget process:
- You have a key role in the annual budget process (sales, cost of sales, operational costs).
- You are responsible for the technical development of the sales budget (breakdown by countries, product groups, discounts, list sales,....).
- You take care of the reporting of the budget to CTB in the appropriate tools.
Cost control and analytical accounting:
- You are responsible for the control of costing and closely monitor parameters.
- You play a leading role in the annual adjustment of standard cost prices.
- You set up post-calculations in order to check the accuracy of cost prices.
- You monitor and control the accuracy of inventory levels.
- You analyze substantial deviations and take necessary corrective actions.
People Management:
- You provide leadership to the Accounting & Finance Controller who succeeds our American office.
- You provide professional guidance and support according to the further development of this colleague.
- You report to the Finance and IT Director.
Your profile:
- You have a master's degree, in Economics (or equivalent).
- You have at least 5 years of relevant experience in financial controlling (Experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing company is a plus).
- Besides an advanced Excel knowledge, knowledge and experience of working with a BI-tool is necessary (Experience with Power BI is a plus).
- You are familiar with ERP systems.
- You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and English.
- You have a strong analytical and critical mind and enjoy working independently.
- You are a good communicator, stress resistant and a real team worker.
- You show interest in and have already proven that you can acquire insight into business processes, so building up knowledge about our Roxell products does not put you off.
