Regional Sales Manager Europe

If you like negotiating internationally and enthusing a sales team, then you are the Regional Sales Manager we are looking for.
Your function:
- As International Sales Manager you are responsible for setting up and implementing the sales policies within the Europe.
- After an induction period in which you get to know our product range and distribution channels, you and your Area Sales Managers will be responsible for challenging the existing distributor network and expanding into new markets.
- In mature markets, you will focus on innovation and challenge your distributors to approach their markets with our more advanced solutions.

- In the growth markets, the focus is on direct sales and you will seek out the major integrators. In addition, you strive for local presence by appointing high performing distributors.
- You will be responsible for the realization and follow-up of sales budgets and strive for an optimal ratio between cost price and selling price. You anticipate customer behavior and think in an extremely solution-oriented way.
- You are alert to the market position of competitors and the positioning of competing products. You are supported by the commercial office, product management, innovation and technical service.
- You report to the Sales Director Rest Of the World.

Your profile:
- You function at Master level with a technical-economic background, or equivalent through experience (B2B) within a relevant business and within the Europe / Africa region.
- You are an outspoken people manager who knows how to enthuse the team of Area Sales Managers and distributors.
- At least 8 years of relevant work experience as international Sales Manager.
- Hunter with a feel for chances and opportunities in a technical business.
- Quick to deploy, all-round and hands on.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Dutch, French and English.
- In addition to regular travel, you will be in Maldegem, Belgium frequently for meetings
