History
Back 1967 Forrest Lee Ramser and Howard Brembeck, founders of Chore-Time in the USA,
established a subsidiary in Belgium. They were convinced that the European poultry and livestock
industry too would benefit from their inventions: the first feeding pan for broilers and the
axe-less auger.
Two years later they exchanged the rented warehouse in Sijsele with a new factory in Maldegem
including an own development department. As of then many new products for poultry as well as for
pigs were introduced to the market on a regular basis.
In 1990 the company changed its name and became world renowned as Roxell.
In the past 45 years Roxell introduced 33 new systems, not taking in consideration the
adaptations to existing products. Many of these systems initiated trends or became standards in the
industry: Minimax, Optimax, Hoxline, Bridomat, KiXoo, Vitoo. Roxell expects at least as much from
its recently introduced innovations like HaiKoo, LaïCa and PooLaï. The company is considered
worldwide an uthority in the field of feeding and drinking systems for broilers and breeders.
Today Roxell has 13 500 m² of buildings including a production facility that is considered
as the best equipped in the industry. The company employs 200 people. The Roxell range is exported
to 85 countries and supported by more than 150 distributors.
